We have four dedicated Party Rooms and a big ice rink to make sure you remember your special day!

 

All parties are fully catered for and can be booked for eight children or more at the following session times ;

 

Weekend mornings and afternoons

Saturdays : Guests are more than welcome to stay and skate for the whole session, but may only use the party room during the timeslot booked.

Sundays : Guests are more than welcome to stay and skate for the whole session, but may only use the party room during the timeslot booked.

 

Friday Family Skate: 4:30pm - 6:30pm

 

Friday Night Skate: 7:30pm - 10:00pm

 

Essential Party Information for Parents !

 

All prices include Hunter Ice Skating Stadium entry and skate hire, free Gift Certificate and all the fun you can handle!

 

A minimum of 8 children are required to make a party booking.

 

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

 

We recommend you and your guests arrive 15 minutes prior to your party sitting to meet up in the foyer.

 

Invitations are downloadable from the link above right. We can print these for you to collect if you don't have a printer.

 

Balloons are available on request @ $2 per balloon at the time of the booking.

 

You will need to notify Hunter Ice Skating Stadium at least 24 hours prior if there are to be less children than originally confirmed or there will be an unavoidable $12.00 surcharge per child not in attendance to cover food preparation costs.

 

Please contact us if your child has special dietary requirements and we will happily discuss your needs. Spring Rolls or Vegan nuggets are available for vegetarian options, but please let us know in advance.

 

We have available a Parent Party Platter which can be ordered prior to the sitting - $40 includes spring rolls, prawn cutlets and fish pieces.

Upon arrival the Party co-ordinator will be notified and arrangements will be made for you to be escorted to your party room.

 

Your party sitting begins at 11.30am.

 

Food will be served at 12.00pm

 

Each Child will receive a Party Box consisting of:

 

    6 Chicken Nuggets

    Hot Chips

    1 Drink

    1 Lolly bag

 

We will supply an Ice Cream Cake with a sparkler for the party

 

Games & Dancing on the ice from 12.30pm

 

You will then vacate the party room at 1.30pm, but you are welcome to continue skating and enjoying yourselves until the session finishes.

 

 

Friday Afternoon Party Package

4.30pm - 6.30pm

 

Upon arrival the Party co-ordinator will be notified and arrangements will be made for you to be escorted to your party room.

 

Your party sitting begins at 4.30pm.

 

Food will be served at 5pm

 

Each Child will receive a Party Box consisting of:

 

    6 Chicken Nuggets

    Hot Chips

    1 Drink

    1 Lolly bag

 

We will supply an Ice Cream Cake with a sparkler for the party

 

Games & Dancing on the ice from 5.45pm

 

You will then vacate the party room at 6.30pm.

 

Friday Night Party Packages

7.30pm - 10.00pm

Your party sitting begins at 7.30pm.

 

Food will be served between 8.00pm and 8.30pm

 

Each Child will receive a Party Box consisting of:

We will supply an Ice Cream Cake with a sparkler for the party

 

Games & Dancing on the ice from 8.45pm

 

You will then vacate the party room at 9.30pm,  but you are welcome to continue skating and enjoying yourselves until the session finishes at 10pm.

 

 

 

GROUP ACTIVITIES

Hunter Ice Skating Stadium offers ice skating as a school sport to all high schools in the Newcastle and Hunter Region.

 

Currently, more than 20 schools come at various times throughout the week between 9:30 and 2:30 Monday to Friday.

 

If the students need a break, the canteen is open during the sessions and they can buy hot food and drinks.

 

The cost per student is from $8.00 for recurring bookings.

 

Traditionally, no safety equipment is required for general skating, however helmets will be provided for those students who wish to wear them.

School Groups

Fundraising for your school, group or charity can be a difficult and time consuming business. Hunter Ice Skating Stadium would like to help support your efforts and help you reach your goal faster and easier. That way you can get back to what you do best – coaching and managing your sporting teams or running your community group!

 

The Hunter Ice Skating Stadium is donating $3 from every non-birthday party entry fee from the Friday afternoon Kids Disco to clubs and groups who wish to nominate that day as their fundraising event. This disco is a very popular session as we cater to kids by playing popular music and have dancing competitions with flashing lights and prizes.

 

This is an easy way to raise money with very minimal effort… all you have to do is spread the word to as many family and friends as you can - the more people who come to skate, the more money you make!

 

For example, if you bring 40 people from your club, school or charity to skate, and there are 40 regular customers for a total of 80, your club makes $240 simply by having fun! The rink at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium holds 500 people, if you can fill it, that’s $1500!

 

A minimum number of 20 people per session applies.
